Taming the Raging Bull with Production:av.
2006 is Phil 'Raging Bull' Vickery's Testimonial Year. A year of different events to celebrate his time at Gloucester City Rugby Club, and his contribution to the national teams. The 30th of June saw The Centaur Hosting the 'Captains Dinner' with more than six hundred guests, respected players and friends of Phil coming together to enjoy tales from on and off the pitch and enjoy the food and drink. Production:av were asked by The Centaur to provide Video Projection, Sound and Lighting Services for the event.
Full Scale Production.
Production:av supplied a 14'x10' Fastfold Screen with a flown Christie LX50 5000 Lumen Data projector for showing DVD's and Powerpoint images with the system operated by Wayne Whitson. Sound reinforcement was based around The Centaurs house Meyer M1D system and operated by Pete McCrea, with additional Radio Mics and other ancillary items provided by Production:av. Andy Bartlett designed and operated the lighting which again utilised the venues house equipment (consisting of Stand Dimming and ETC Source Four Pars and Profiles).
The event was a roaring success, with both the guests and crew being entertained with the stories and anecdotes, and went off without any technical hitches or issues.
