The Cheltenham Festival 2006

Being the regular AV providers for The Centaur, 14-17th of March saw Production:av supplying av for the pinnacle of the Cheltenham racing calendar- "The Cheltenham Festival". This years Festival was the first to go to four days, with the Cheltenham Gold Cup being held on the Friday. The four days saw two bands perform on the stage after the days racing, allowing the race goers to either celebrate with a few more drinks, or drown their sorrows!

Live Event Image Magnification

Production:av supplied 2 cameras and a vision mixer to take the feed from RaceTech before outputting to the 22Sqm LED Screen (Supplied by SPS). During the days racing the screen showed all the races and re-runs, then after the last race, the bands took to the stage, with the screen then performing iMag Duties. Camera work was undertaken by Mike Simpson and Mike Kane, with the vision mixing taken care of by Pete McCrea. Several favourable comments made their way back to Production:av, notably about the clarity and quality of the screen and images during the bands performances. The images below are taken by Glyn Harries.
