Holy Trinity Carol Service 2006.

Holy Trinity Church took over The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse for it's annual Carol Service, the third in The Centaur. Production:av undertook to provide the Lighting and AV for service, with USS providing the sound reinforcement. The event was a success, with Production:av's high standards again creating a fantastic show.

Dramatic Effect.

The same team as undertake the regular services had an increased budget to allow for the increased requirements. LD Dave Hughes worked with additional Parcans and Mac500 fixtures to create the 'Dazzling Display' (From the Gloucestershire Echo's report here - Opens in a New Window.), all controlled through an Avolites Pearl.

With a large portion of the traditional bible readings being played in on VT, the quality of the screen images is of utmost importance. Using the Extron DVS406 to scale composite and RGB video feeds up to data resolutions of 1024x768 at 75Hz, means that the song words remain beautifully crisp, with the video looking sharp. This service used camera images under the song words for various portions. Using the Key function of the DVS406 meant that the congregation got to enjoy the onstage action whilst seeing the words. The camera images are mixed down via a Panasonic MX50. Thanks must go to the usual camera Ops that excelled them selves with the camera work. Thanks also to Dave Hughes for providing excellent lighting that both made the camera images possible, and made them look good.
