Production AV is currently looking to add to the team due to growth.

The last few years have seen a steady growth in our workload, and now we need some outstanding people to help us move to the continue this growth. People passionate about the events industry and especially the video side, keen to learn and improve and use that to ensure are clients receive better. Better service, better solutions and a better experience.

We’re looking for people that are prepared to work hard, but then are also happy to have a good time with the rest of the team when the opportunity arises.

The two roles are:

Technician

This role is a key role – your desire to learn about new equipment and techniques will mean that you’re looking for ways to enhance our clients experience and the service we offer through practical use of the equipment we operate.

It will be a varied role, and we’re willing to train the right person, so the right attitude and an ability to learn are key. You might have spent several years freelancing and are looking for a more permanent job, or not long out of college or University and looking to gain experience.  You must be happy working in a team, or on your own, and will be expected to be happy working liaising all levels on an event site or in the warehouse – from dealing with local crew to the CEO of a major company, polite and courteous when appropriate,  firm and fair when needed.

We have cutting edge equipment from the likes of disguise and Barco, and we’ll expect you to learn to get the best from the hardware. We’ll also be looking for you to constantly have your eyes open to how we can improve: whether it’s through new techniques, new equipment, or new people, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow.

Our work is predominantly video work, so experience with video equipment such as LED Screens, switchers, media servers and the such is preferred but we do undertake a small amount of Audio and lighting.

The role will involve making deliveries, so being able to drive is key, and additional categories such as B+E, C, C+E would be a benefit too for some of our upcoming developments. IPAF and Forklift competences would also be beneficial.

There may also be occasion skirmishes in the warehouse with Nerf guns. This will be a full-time role with a permanent contract.
