BAMMA on Bravo TV

Production AV were at the National Indoor Arena providing video projection systems for BAMMA 4 – a mixed martial arts event gaining increasing popularity in the UK. Screening live on Bravo TV during the evening, the on-site team installed a 3 screen system using Barco HD projectors and screens up to 24′ in width giving the full-capacity audience stunning camera imagery of all the action and film clips of the fighters before they entered the arena. All equipment was flown from production rigging and utilised our fibre optic cabling systems and Barco ScreenPro control to ensure a reliable and high quality show.

We are were pleased to be involved in this arena event, working as part of a wider production team to deliver a fist class production and we look forward to the next event later this year.

Ignition 2007

Production:av spent 4 days in Stratford Park, Stroud for the finale of the Ignition Mission. Providing the Video system along with cameras and Powerpoint and technical support to the event. The event was the last in a series of three,Production:av having supplied the previous two events in September and December 2006. J.John was the main speaker with the Ignition band returning to provide the worship and musical entertainment.

Dual Screen Video System.
Production:av supplied a similar system for the last event as to the previous two. Based around two 5000 Lumen Christie Digital LX50 projectors paired with 10′x7’6″ Fastfold Screens, with an Extron Scaler providing the switching and scaling. The switcher was fed by two cameras, DVD Playback and a Powerpoint PC with back up unit. The two cameras were operated by Production:av camera operators, whilst the show and song words were mixed and called by Pete McCrea. The show was a success with audiences appreciating J.John’s whit and direct approach, as well as the music and interesting testimonies.

Cheltenham National Hunt Festival 2007

Production:av supplied the prestigious Cheltenham Festival with video services for the annual event. With little change in the brief for the 4 day event this year, Production:av supplied the control side to ‘The Centaur’, including equipment and personnel. Taking the feeds from the Racetech broadcast feeds, Production:av supplied vision mixing and control equipment to send the signal to the supplied LED Screen. During the Mornings and after the racing finished cameras were utilised to relay action on the stage to the Large screen. Powerpoint and DVD sources also made appearances through the course of the event, especially in the run up to Thursdays first ‘Ladies Day’.

Per Una Fashion Show
The first Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival was held on the Thursday of the 4 day event. The centre piece of the day was the Per Una fashion show held in The Centaur. Two shows where held prior to the days racing. Giving the Ladies present in the audience the chance to see the new collections available from April, the shows were well received.

Technically the shows were of minimal additional requirements to the system that was already in place. Two additional cameras attended to capture the event for later promotional purposes, with the footage being taken backProduction:av, and then to the main screen, and also being fed back to the racecourse control, from where the images were sent to the rest of the racecourse.

Production:av was delighted to be involved and recognised as part of an ‘extremely helpful and enthusiastic team’ by the Per Una staff- something that we provide to every client.
